This role is central to supporting our drone platform manufacturing operations — ensuring accurate inventory, timely kitting for production, and smooth shipping and receiving of goods. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting defence and commercial production lines.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain accurate, real-time inventory levels across all warehouse locations
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods
  • Monitor stock levels and flag shortages or excess inventory to production planning and procurement

ERP System Management

  • Own day-to-day warehouse transactions within the ERP system (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)
  • Ensure all inventory movements are accurately and promptly recorded to maintain data integrity
  • Partner with operations and planning teams to keep BOM-driven stock data aligned with production needs
  • Generate and analyse ERP reports (stock status, inventory aging, kitting readiness) for leadership

Kitting for Production

  • Manage the kitting process to ensure production lines receive complete, accurate component kits on schedule
  • Coordinate with production planning to prioritize kitting based on build schedules
  • Identify and escalate shortages or missing components that could delay production
  • Maintain kitting area organization and traceability of issued components

Shipping & Receiving

  • Oversee receiving of incoming goods: inspect for accuracy, quality, and damage against purchase orders
  • Manage outbound shipping operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and properly documented shipments
  • Coordinate with freight carriers, customs brokers (for international shipments), and logistics partners
  • Ensure compliance with any applicable export control and defense-related shipping requirements

Team & Operations Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff (receiving, kitting, shipping personnel)
  • Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
  • Develop and improve warehouse processes, layout, and workflows for efficiency and accuracy
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Priority, NetSuite, SAP, or similar) for inventory and warehouse transactions
  • Experience with kitting processes and BOM-based material management
  • Strong understanding of shipping/receiving procedures, including domestic and international logistics
  • Proven leadership experience managing warehouse staff
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, drone, or electronics manufacturing is a plus
  • Familiarity with export control regulations (ITAR/EAR) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfort with data-driven reporting
