A bit about the job:

***We are seeking a Field Engineer for a remote position, to work from anywhere in the US.***

This role involves contributing to the development of our customer installation process and actively deploying implementations for Enterprise customers. Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Success, the role will be responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience. You will be working closely with the Sr. Field Engineering team supporting customer deployments for new customers and for upgrades. You will be required to document customer unique setup requirements and needs, coping with their operational issues, dependencies and requirements. Performance in this role is critical for Tabnine’s success in achieving superior customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the product installation process (from a technical standpoint) for our global customers. This includes identifying pre-requisites, validating environment readiness, variants of installation on different environments and installation health checks
  • Lead Kubernetes deployments and orchestration for customer self hosted installations. Including monitoring and backup processes
  • Manage and troubleshoot customer production environments, covering OS (Linux), Network and monitoring
  • Technical Liaison: Resolve technical issues in collaboration with the the Field Engineering team and R&D

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes (CKA/CKD certification preferred but not required)
  • 2+ years as system administrator/DevOps or infrastructure development (installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux based environments)
  • Working experience with the major cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS) including VPCs, Managed K8S, and networking is a plus.
  • Experience with helm charts, docker, and registries
  • Experience using IDEs like Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, and JetBrains
  • Capable in network troubleshooting and configuration (certificates, proxies, VPNs, Firewalls) across different OS
  • Excellent customer facing skills, team collaboration and problem-solving ability, and adaptability to changing environments

Nice to have

Nice to Have:

  • Monitoring tool experience (Grafana, Prometheus, FluentBit) is a plus
  • Infrastructure background is beneficial
