The Senior Manager, Global CS & TS Strategy & Operations will join a global team driving Datadog’s next phase of growth. We’re interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds to accelerate Datadog’s global growth. We work directly with Datadog’s most senior leaders to set strategy, improve efficiency across the business, support data-driven decision-making, own complex operations, and more. In this role, you will be key to identifying areas for revenue growth, helping Datadog make data driven decisions, and designing and executing on strategic initiatives across Customer Success and Technical Solutions (Support Engineering, Sales Engineering, and Technical Post Sales).

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the range of strategic and operational questions facing our Customer Success and Technical Solutions leadership globally. Drive thinking in key business areas as a trusted advisor to leadership.

  • Work with your team to develop strategic plans for our Customer Success and Technical Solutions groups, both short-term and long-term, including capacity planning and incentive/KPI setting.

  • Design, launch and lead global transformation programs and deliver improvements to our operating model; own the success of outcomes and progress reporting to leadership alongside your team.

  • Take a hands on approach to problem solving, continuously pivoting from big-picture strategic planning to tactical execution and not shying away from getting deep into the weeds.

  • Unblock your team as needed, including by aligning relevant senior stakeholders across the company to enable your team to drive projects to completion.

  • Provide hands-on coaching on analyses, dashboards, and presentations related to improving and running our business.

  • Collaborate cross functionally with Customer Success, Technical Solutions, HR, FP&A, Enablement, and GTM Strategy & Operations.

  • Manage a team of 4 FTEs to start.

Who You Are:

  • At least 7+ years in CS / Sales / Marketing strategy and/or management consulting, including 2+ years of direct people management experience.

  • Confident and low ego leader, recognizing that when your team shines you shine alongside them.

  • Strong sense of ownership: will own and measure outcomes alongside customer success and technical solutions.

  • Experience designing and administering critical GTM processes in a complex organization.

  • Strong analytical problem solving abilities: can model any operational question with high attention to detail and coach others to do the same.

  • Proven ability to develop actionable recommendations and process improvements from qualitative and quantitative data and coach others to do the same.

  • Experience working closely with executive level stakeholders.

  • Prior experience working with Customer Success and/or Technical Solutions teams.

  • Technical / Analytics background: hands on experience working in SQL and/or Python.

  • MBA or equivalent.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $170,000 to $230,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
