Datadog is looking for an L&D Senior Facilitator to design, deliver, and enhance learning programs that advance the company’s performance and strengthen our culture. This role is critical to the execution and expansion of organization-wide learning initiatives as we rapidly scale and focus on manager development and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) training.

You will have the opportunity to make a big impact at Datadog by being the first L&D person sitting in the Paris office and enabling our People team to deliver more frequent and effective learning programs globally. A critical focus of this role is instructor-led facilitation, through which you will empower our global population to upskill and learn in real-time through connection, discussion, and practice. You will help unlock the potential of current and future employees by leading engaging, impactful, and enjoyable learning experiences. This role will also involve partnering with stakeholders across the business (with a focus on EMEA & APAC) and within the People team to ensure we are offering high-quality learning & development programming that meet the unique needs of all participants.

The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running by confidently facilitating existing workshop content (with a focus on manager development and DEI sessions) to our employees at all levels, up to and including senior leadership. They will quickly begin to build relationships with stakeholders and drive projects through completion to achieve business goals.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You'll Do:

  • Run instructor-led workshops (both in-person & virtual) that are engaging and adaptive to ensure people of various experience levels, backgrounds, and cultures get the most out of each learning experience and drive conversation

  • Deliver content and foster psychologically safe conversations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion that involves responding to participant questions accurately and clearly, providing useful examples, research, theory, as well as empathy and/or follow up questions for the group

  • Be continuously familiar with various workshop offerings, especially on people management and DEI topics, in order to facilitate a diverse set of sessions and be prepared to step in in the event of coverage shifts

  • Contribute to special projects such as mentorship, DEI, new hire onboarding, system integration and optimization, and other people programs that help us recruit, develop, and retain top talent

  • Work in lock step with multiple dynamic active programs and program managers requiring different capture systems and modes of communication

  • Work with a team of seasoned facilitators to continually challenge, support and drive each other in skill building and refining expertise

Who You Are:

  • At least 7 years of professional experience facilitating instructor-led workshops, with at least 3 on manager development topics, and ideally DEI, both in-person and virtually

  • Degree in Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or other related field

  • Experience facilitating workshops to global audiences with various cultures

  • Availability to facilitate periodic virtual sessions to accommodate employees in different time zones around the world

  • Technical proficiency, including with Zoom and host functionalities such as breakout rooms, polling, and chat

  • Understanding of social science concepts and research related to best practices with manager development and DEI

  • Ability to travel to different offices, both domestic and international, to facilitate in-person workshops and meet other business needs (up to 35%)

  • Work a hybrid schedule, typically 3 days in office, up to 2 days remote (with flexibility to work 5 days in office when needed for trainings)

  • Access to a private space with strong internet connection and a distraction-free background to run virtual workshops, as an alternative option to the spaces available in our office

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth

  • Generous and competitive global and US benefits
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Best in breed onboarding
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
