We are looking for a curious and innovative Applied R&D Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team, solving complex challenges in electrochemical and fluid systems.

You’ll play a key role in developing new concepts, not just testing existing ones. Your work will span from building physical models to designing experiments that reveal system behavior and performance limits.

• Design and execute experiments to study multiphase flow, heat/mass transfer, and electrochemical behavior in complex systems.
• Develop physical models to predict system performance, failure modes, and optimization opportunities.
• Integrate experimental data with modeling to extract quantitative insights and validate theoretical predictions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into hardware and process innovations.

• MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
• Solid foundation in fluid dynamics, heat/mass transport, and physical modeling
• Experience designing and executing lab-scale and system scale experiments.
• Demonstrated ability to approach problems with first-principles thinking and conceptual innovation
• Familiarity with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., COMSOL, ANSYS, MATLAB, or Python-based frameworks)
• Experience with electrolyzers, gas-liquid systems, or hydrogen/oxygen-based systems- advantage
