We are looking for a Head of Legal to join us as our first in-house counsel and act as the go-to person for all things legal.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced, strategically-minded, hands-on, tech-focused lawyer to be the legal focal point within a growing company in a dynamic and disruptive field. You will support the company on diverse legal aspects, collaborating with different functions such as Sales, Partnerships, Finance, R&D, Operations, and HR. You will also play a crucial role in developing and implementing legal strategies, policies, and processes to optimize operational efficiency and business results.

As a Head of Legal , you will hold a high level of responsibility and trust within the organization, reporting directly to the CFO.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, partner and vendor contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable and compliant with company policies and legal standards, applying best practices and structures.
• Provide ongoing legal counseling and guidance on ongoing corporate matters.
• Provide legal support on employment-related issues, including support in drafting and reviewing employment contracts, advising on compliance with Israeli and US labor laws, and assisting in employee related matters.
• Oversee and advise on compliance with technology-related regulations and standards, including data protection and privacy, intellectual property, and industry-specific laws.
• Monitor and respond to emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory developments in AI.
• Develop and maintain legal strategies, processes, internal policies and templates to ensure best practices and legal compliance
• Oversee the Company’s registration process of patents and trademarks
• Work with all necessary stakeholders across functions such as sales, finance, and HR, providing deep legal knowledge of laws, regulations, best practice and structures.
• Offer timely and accurate legal advice to senior management and business units on a range of legal matters, including risk mitigation and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate and manage relationships with outside counsel

• Minimum 8+ years experience in high-tech/ commercial law. Ideal candidates will have a blend of law firm and in-house counsel experience.
• Deep expertise in technology law, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory compliance. Strong understanding of the technology sector and emerging trends. Adept in best practices and structures.
• Experience in drafting commercial agreements, and the ability to draft, negotiate, and finalize agreements independently, with a solution-driven approach to legal issues.
• Demonstrated ability to lead legal strategy and manage high-stake projects effectively, with a hands-on approach.
• Experience in fast-paced technology companies and ability to adapt to dynamic environments and changing priorities within deadlines.
• Highly motivated with outstanding communication skills, interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and ability to collaborate across functions.
• Excellent judgment and strong business acumen, able to effectively translate legal concepts into practical advice
• Precise and efficient, with very strong organizational skills
• Licensed attorney
• Fluent in English (verbal, reading and writing)
