The Talent Management team is responsible for the design, development and delivery of key programs and initiatives that advance the company’s performance and strengthen its overall culture. This team ensures company-wide talent programs (such as performance feedback and internal mobility) are effective and fully integrated in order to engage and retain our people.

Datadog is looking for a Talent Management Specialist to support the launch and ongoing delivery of global talent management and performance management initiatives. This person will work cross-functionally, supporting our global business by delivering high-impact initiatives. The successful candidate will have a passion for employee growth and will be eager to introduce new practices into a leading global tech company.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the development and execution of talent management programs to engage, retain and develop Datadog employees, such as the annual talent review process, succession planning, career growth planning, and internal mobility.
  • Analyze and implement new tools and systems to help talent management programs and initiatives scale.
  • Work closely with People Business Partners, ensuring the tools, systems, and processes we build have the maximum impact.
  • Partner with our Workday team to gather design requirements and plan for systems-build and testing.
  • Scope and design talent management analytics in partnership with the People Analytics team, ensuring dashboards are user-friendly, actionable, and connected to other programs (such as compensation).
  • Draft communications and training materials for talent management programs, with a focus on clarity for the end-user.
  • Facilitate training sessions for People Business Partners and managers engaged in talent management programs.
  • Proactively investigate and analyze program efficiencies and recommend improvements and solutions.
  • Have the ability to analyze and optimize datasets with minimal guidance.

Who You Are:

  • A Talent Management Specialist or People Business Partner with experience working in a high-growth environment.
  • You are highly adaptable, with the ability to respond to changes in operational pace.
  • You understand end-to-end processes and can successfully operate when multiple teams are involved to deliver large projects across the organization.
  • You solve problems, applying good judgment to put forward solutions, especially when the right thing to do is not immediately clear.
  • You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and changing priorities - our work requires us to be highly iterative and responsive to feedback.
  • You are comfortable delivering content to different audiences, and adapt your style accordingly.
  • You communicate with precision and clarity.
  • You know when to ask for help, and pick-up new skills quickly.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Generous and competitive benefits package
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space
  • Best in breed onboarding
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $101,000.00 to $149,000.00, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Datadog offers a wide range of best in class, comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, dental, parental planning, and mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan and match, paid time off, fitness reimbursements, and a discounted employee stock purchase plan.
