The Country Manager will lead, build and develop the entire region in line with strategic company wide goals. Datadog is looking for someone who has built and led sales teams in the Enterprise and Commercial Software space, and has a strong track record closing revenue in the SaaS space.

What You’ll Do:

  • Guide and manage the activities of Datadog Korea to ensure that company revenue goals and objectives are met
  • Provide strategy, mentorship, and guidance across sales teams
  • Support the sales team by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings
  • Develop and execute on a business plan to expand business into new accounts
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts, and closed deals to ensure above quota results based on successful pipeline management thorough understanding of business needs and revenue potential for accounts
  • Build and develop relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Work with teams individually and collectively, whilst always promoting a healthy team environment and positive office culture

Who You Are:

  • Experienced in 10+ years of Enterprise software sales having successfully sold solutions at the C-level with 5+ years of Sales management experience leading first and second line managers
  • Confident in developing and managing new sales organizations and building a team of successful big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales professionals
  • Passionate about coaching, influencing, developing, and empowering employees to achieve objectives with a team approach while teaching and training sales methodologies
  • Proven at exceeding company sales quotas in a complex sales environment
  • Experienced in territory management and planning at the regional and account levels
  • Comfortable in contract negotiation and deal forecasting experience
  • Strong in your written, verbal, presentation, and organizational skills and able to articulate and evangelize the value of the Datadog product
  • Willing to travel as needed
